Based on a Greek myth, this is the story of King Orik, who is cursed after being put in the unfortunate position of having to judge a contest between the gods Pan and Apollo, and whose suffering can only be eased by his barber Luigi, Euterpe the travelling minstrel, and his faithful dog Scruffibus.
The music for this family production is composed for a medium-sized ensemble of musicians, and features a Glass Harmonica. The pieces available to download - which accompany a scene in which a poster calling for entertainers to make the King happy is carried away on the wind, and a scene in which the King's barber relieves himself of the King's secret by whispering it into a hole in the ground - are taken from the eponymous audiobook.
