The music for this family production was inspired by the character of Rumpelstiltskin himself, who was a kind of twisted circus ring-master. Rumpelstilstskin's theme (the track available for download) was composed to sound like the kind of music organ one hears on fairground rides and the like, but I tried to use certain off-kilter elements (such as the clicking for example - it would normally be made by the valves of the organ opening and closing but I sampled myself making clicking noises with my tongue). I also went a bit over-the-top in the arrangement to reflect his maniacal nature.
